Font/Monogram Styles

Can I choose a specific font for my personalized gift?
Yes! We offer the following four fonts for personalization:

Please indicate Font Choices for each item by placing them in parenthesis following the name/message of the item.  Place an "S" for script, "B" for block, "F" for fancy, and "C" for clean.  For example, if you wanted something to be personalized with the name "Emily" in a script font, you would enter: Emily (S) If no font is specified at the time of order, your item will be personalized in the font that looks best for that particular item.  We tend to use Clean font for boys, Script/Clean for girls, and Fancy/Script for baptismal cloths and other keepsake items.   Email us at info@babycalla.com if you have any questions about font specification.

Is there a limit to the number of letters I can have in the embroidered name?  Names longer than 14 letters (including spaces) may require two lines for printing depending on the font used and available space on the item.  If you are adding a name to a design that already includes words/phrases your name/or the words/phrases may be placed either above/below the design in order to guarantee that your item is aesthetically balanced.  Please feel free to email us at info@babycalla.com with any questions, or to see if this applies to the item you are ordering.

Are there different monogram styles to choose from?  There are five different monogram styles to choose from.  If no style is specified at the time of order, your item will be monogrammed in Plain or Bracket Monogram.  Please specify the initials in the exact order that you would like them to appear on your item.  Click here for monogram examples. 

Thread Colors

How can I be sure my embroidery design choice will match my ribbon/fabric choice?  Don't worry!  We'll automatically substitute a lighter/darker shade of thread so that your design will match perfectly! 

I really love a specific design, but I wish it were in a different color.  No Problem!  We can easily substitute a different thread color at no charge.  Please email your color substitution request prior to placing your order, to be sure we have your color choice in stock.

Special Order Items

I want to order an item from babycalla.com, but it is a 'Special Order' item.  There is no button on the site to add it to my cart.  How do I place my order?

Special Order items can be purchased by emailing us and letting us know that you'd like to place an order for that item.  We will send you a return email requesting the necessary information required to make the item.  In addition, we will also include a PayPal button which you can click to place your order.

Fabric Care

We prewash and dry all fabrics to reduce shrinking in a dye-free, fragrance-free detergent that is safe for sensitive skin.  We recommend that you machine wash your items in cold water and tumble dry medium for best results.

How can I pay for my items?  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.

How long does it take to ship my order?

Holiday Delivery Info:

Place your gift orders early to ensure the best selection of fabric/ribbons!    Orders must be placed by December 12th,  to guarantee delivery before Christmas.

All items are custom made to order.  Please allow 7-10 days for order completion and 2-3 days for shipping.  We ship all standard orders via USPS Priority Mail.  If you need an item sooner, please contact us at info@babycalla.com or 508-527-3555. Additional fees may apply for rushed orders.  Shipping via UPS is available for extremely urgent deliveries.

How will I know when my order has shipped?  You will be notified by email when your order has shipped. 

How are shipping charges calculatedShipping charges are calculated based on your Order Total, and are estimated in an attempt to account for the size and weight of items to be shipped as well as to cover packaging costs.  EVERY Baby Calla item is gift wrapped in a cellophane bag or cellophane wrapping paper, and is tied with ribbon. We do not charge handling fees, and often recycle shipping boxes and packing materials to keep costs low.  Gift Baskets and orders over $100 always ship for free.  You will be charged separate shipping fees for each Ship To address. 

How do I place an order if I am shipping the items to multiple addresses?  If you are shipping to multiple addresses, you have the option to place multiple orders for each Ship To address online, or you can contact us via email at info@babycalla.com and request a Buy Now button.  Please include all of the required information in the email (shipping information, item description, names, fabric etc), and we will send you reply email that contains a PayPal "Buy Now" button.  This button will take you directly to the PayPal checkout screen and allow you to complete your transaction in one easy step.  You will be charged separate shipping fees for each Ship To address. 

Gift Orders

My order is a gift.  Can I include a gift card or message?  EVERY Baby Calla item is gift wrapped in a cellophane gift bag or cellophane wrapping paper, and is tied with ribbon at no extra charge.  If your order is a gift, we will gladly include a personalized gift card too!  Be sure to indicate your gift card message in the Additional Info section at checkout.

Return Policy

What is the return policy Personalized items are NOT returnable, due to the personalized nature of the products.  We cannot resell an item that has been embroidered with a name.  Please be sure that you have the name/monogram correct before placing your order.  In the event that you are unhappy with an item you have received, or feel that it is defective in some way, please email us promptly so that we can work together to resolve this issue.
