Each appliqué is made from an original Baby Calla Design Pattern. We use a combination of cotton and flannel fabric, felt, ribbon and embroidery for embellishment as well as several different types of stitches. Our appliqués are hand cut and heat fused to a Carter's super soft tagless onesie. They are finished with a zigzag or straight stitch for design enhancement and durability. On most appliqués care is taken to prevent fraying, with the exception of designs where a frayed edge enhances the effect of the design.
